Yacoub is an experienced professional with a proven track record of consistently driving impactful change through his diverse skill set and strategic mindset.

In his most recent role as the Head of Corporate Affairs at Rain, Yacoub established a centralized taskforce, streamlined workflow, and nurtured relationships with regulatory authorities. These efforts resulted in the successful clearance of major regulatory barriers, enabling the launch of a new entity in the Abu Dhabi Global Market. By leveraging his expertise and strategic approach, Yacoub played a pivotal role in facilitating business growth and expansion.

As a Public Policy Manager at Rain, he also excelled in managing the organization's engagement with regulatory stakeholders in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and driving strategic projects spanning company verticals.

During his tenure as a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group, Yacoub showcased his ability to drive transformative change. He led the implementation of digital and organizational transformation strategies for a public entity in a GCC country. By prioritizing stakeholder engagement and effective change management, Yacoub enabled the organization to effectively adapt to the evolving business landscape and enhance overall performance.

Throughout his career, Yacoub has consistently delivered results and demonstrated a passion for driving impactful change. With his expertise in strategy, public policy, and project leadership, Yacoub brings a unique perspective and skill set to every role he undertakes. His ability to navigate complex challenges, build strong relationships, and provide strategic guidance has not only allowed him to excel in his roles but also deliver real value and contribute to the success of the organizations Yacoub has worked with.

Yacoub holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University where he was awarded the Kennedy Fellowship for outstanding academic achievement and professional promise. In 2013, Yacoub obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College with majors in Economics and Mathematics where he served as the president of the Middle Eastern Student Association and the Economics Honor Society. At Macalester, Yacoub was awarded the Kofi Annan and Shelby Davis scholarships. 

Yacoub is fluent in Arabic and English and is proficient in using MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, Google Slides, Docs, & Sheets, and Stata. In his free time, Yacoub enjoys playing football and music, listenting to political autobiographies, and is passionate about pets and movies.
